THE BRIEF
We started the Freedom Concert as a way to provide a live music platform that facilitates Clout Africa’s commitment to provide rising artists the opportunity to present their music in an intuitive manner, specifically during the uncertain and challenging times when the pandemic forced us into lockdown.

Listen to the kids bro' Freedom in a Pandemic
With the lockdown restrictions of the pandemic threatening to dampen the independence day celebration, the virtual Freedom concert was an opportunity for Clout Africa to facilitate social connection among music lovers. To achieve this, we set up a live music concert that fans could enjoy while still obeying the social distancing requirements of the coronavirus pandemic.
We curated the lineup for the Freedom Concert with a diverse guestlist that notably had three female headliners and gospel artists that were sure to please everyone regardless of music taste. This allows Clout Africa to achieve our goal of raising the underground and shining the spotlight on talented artists in the continent.
#GiveAGirlAPad Tackling Period Poverty
Charity and education are two very key objectives of the Freedom Concert. To achieve this, we partnered with Lend A Hand for The Development of Africa, an initiative geared towards empowering young children and families in local communities. This collaboration helped raise awareness on some of the challenges affecting people in our local communities and raised some funds as viewers were encouraged to make voluntary contributions to the #GiveAGirlsAPad initiative that provides free sanitary pads for girls in our local communities.
The Freedom Concert supports Clout Africa’s mission to be recognized as a reliable brand that connects music fans, culture influencers and artists. The Freedom Concert does this by inviting key stakeholders like music marketers, streaming platform execs, media journalists and music enthusiasts to feature in panel discussions.
Touching Base Stakeholder Engagement
With the contribution of key music industry stakeholders and the amazing live music performances, Clout Africa is established as a reliable brand that connects music fans, culture influencers and artists. We executed the live broadcast which lasted for less than thirty minutes on Instagram, Triller and YouTube with some of the most diverse lineups you’ll find anywhere as well as panel discussions that picked the minds of key-players within the music industry. The charity initiative it inspired also highlights Clout Africa’s philanthropic attributes and pledge to push the boundaries inorder to cater to the needs of our audience.
